Spent ₹100 traveling to Nothing service center, got a ₹100 discount voucher. Net gain: literally @Nothing
So my CMF Buds case recently stopped working and powers on only when plugged directly into the wall - the exact same BMS/case failure plenty of people have already posted about on Reddit and the Nothing Community.
The actual earbud drivers work totally fine. Since it was out of warranty, I decided to visit an authorized service center hoping they'd sell me a replacement case with a reasonable discount.
Long story short:
I spent ₹100 on travel to save ₹100 for a replacement product.
Net math: ₹0.
Service received: Literally @Nothing.
Honestly, what bugs me most is that good earbuds get turned into instant e-waste just because the case battery fails and there's no way to buy just the case. At least Chinese ₹300 street earphones don't pretend to be a sleek, minimalist brand before dumping you post-warranty.
Anyone else deal with this exact masterclass in customer experience, or did you just cut your losses and switch brands?
