Another pair have had their portraits done!

Gradually working through portraits of all my Charlie Bears :) Anna is the 2025 birthday bear

The first one is my favourite :)

The beautiful Belinda arrived today. She is softer than a dream and a perfect cuddle size for me. I swapped her bow for a sea glass bead on a braided cord, the colour looks lovely and soft against her fur.

2025 Birthday Bear (I’ve named her Anna) and Lanson were secondhand purchases so they’ve had a welcome spa to be all fresh and clean for cuddles! My fruit bowl made for a perfect bubble bath :)

Mr Fogg reminds me so much of a scruffy little terrier :) I’ve decided he can be Alfie to his friends, and given him a new accessory that’s less fussy than a big bow!

Almost half my collection is cuddle cubs so it’s not quite as bonkers as it sounds ;)

She is ready for mischief!

Wondering if there are any others as soft as Pickwick and Narvin? I love all of them and Delilah is getting softer with cuddles but I am finding the plush a bit coarse and ticklish for my taste. They’re such a great bunch, though, and I’ve really bonded super hard with Delilah.

A court in Germany ruled that Keel Toys does not infringe on Jellycat’s registered designs for a croissant and a doughnut.

‘The Court ruled that the general design idea, namely producing a plush version of a common bakery item and then adding human elements, is not protectable. Such a general idea cannot be monopolised by intellectual property rights.’

And she is NOT a trash panda. I do love how grumpy she looks, with her ‘attack eyebrows.’

The current status of the mythical creatures hug, minus the cuddle cubs. Loving them all so, so much! The next additions are all on pre-order (Tizzie Whizie, Maylin, Sorrel and Griffin) and I’m hoping to add Lantern in the semi-near future.

All of you who commented on my post about Mina and outfits were incredibly helpful! You clarified my thinking that 1- yes, she needed an outfit, 2- blue was clearly her colour, and most especially 3- she absolutely needed a sword. So, with credit to all of you, I present Mina the Adventurer!

They’re on a garden adventure today!

I can’t decide if my little mouse looks better in an outfit or not. I made the blue dress and the pink one is from one of my knitted frogs. I do love that she can stand on her own, though!

Three truly beautiful dragons, one most handsome frog, and a tiny mouse to take on adventures!

And now I’ll be taking a break on welcoming new friends for a bit and let my bank account recover!

They’ve been living in a pile in a basket for far too long :) this isn’t my entire frog collection, but it’s a pretty good representation!

I’ve been scooping up Cuddle Cubs for a few months now and have now dove in and got some excellent new friends. Feldspar is a gorgeous work of art and Woozy (now Pickwick after the dodo from the Jasper Fforde novels) is a real stunner, so beautifully detailed. So looking forward to getting more into these, especially the Monsterology collection.
