"Just one" turned into many real fast...

I was scrolling through the r/plushies subreddit a few days ago and saw a post where someone got their dream plushie, it was a Charlie bear! So I went to go and check the brand out, and while going through their products I found him 🥹 The most precious, special plushie on earth, Timberwolf. Ever since I was little I’ve been looking for a really good wolf plush, one that looks realistic but can still be easily cuddled (I find plushies that are on all fours a bit difficult to hug!) he’s absolutely incredible, and I’m so glad I found him.

So I didn’t even remember that at one point a number of years ago, I used to collect Charlie bears and look what I found in my basement, are any of these valuable or rare?

I’ve had this petty lady for a little while now, and ugh. I’ll never be over how simply gorgeous the mohair dragons are. She is a darling little dragon.

They were always one of my favorites so I was excited to see them come back. Thank you so much to Kelly at Kelly’s Sweets and Greets, I highly recommend her store.

I was surprised to see there were some differences between the two! (New on left, old on right).

So I am a new beginner who was only introduced to Charlie Bears about a month or so ago. Instantly got hooked about everything I heard about the quality, care, and cuteness of the brand. There is nothing I adore more than a plush that’s made with care and special attention to detail. Honestly I found these bears to be much like a cuddly art doll.

I’m also a bit of a huge genealogy and archaic genetics nerd in my spare time, and I came across the Queens Beast series. What’s personal to me about this series in particular is how I am also a direct descendent of each of the people in the royal family who contributed to the heraldry of the houses (and many people share this in common for those of English descent!). Each being a x great grandmother or grandfather of mine. And I love how in retrospect, these tiny details in history created a domino effect to how so many mythical creatures and animals became beloved and popular today!

Griff here is my very first Charlie bear who I had gotten second hand from a collector downsizing their hug on Mercari, and the second I pulled him out of the box when he arrived, I was all smiles. You absolutely get what you pay for in quality and softness. I really love all the special detail, texture, and differences in the furs for the beak, face, ears, torso, wings, and tail. The poseability and the wiring in the limbs, wings, and tail is a very nice detail too.

Eventually I’m going to hunt down the rest of the Queens Beasts for my hug. I was very lucky enough to find someone who had Oona waiting for me, and she’ll be in the mail in a few days in time for my birthday. I can’t wait.

Got this gorgeous guy from the vintage stall in my local market. He's a Bearhouse Bear line so not a traditional Charlie Bear but still my first one 💕🐴

I've named him Radagast and added a string of gemstone beads to his braids. I'm in love.

after eyeing him for a few weeks, Atlas finally came home! positively surprised by how firm his claws are, as I expected them to be much softer. his paw pads are the best and squishiest paw pads I ever touched (okay, he's my only Charlie Bear, but it surely still would be hard to surpass). his ears aren't too big, but they somehow suit him. I love the silly long tail this bear has. his smile isn't as visible from the front, but when you wake up besides him, he's smiling down on you.

the only small thing I was a little disappointed by is that he wasn’t quite as heavy as I anticipated, since I had seen others mention that he had some noticeable weight to him. still, I’m genuinely happy I decided to get him. he’s endlessly cute :)

Hi everyone. I’m wondering about what I can do at this point— while every order except my most recent has been fulfilled, I wasn’t made aware of the fact that nearly all of my orders through CB Direct (USA), except my very first order, is listed on my account. I’m at this point grateful that I refuse to delete emails, because, wow…..

While not the most concerning thing in the world since my orders have been fulfilled, I would’ve liked to see my most recent order of Feldspar considering he was a bit expensive for me (I bought him as a treat) and has been in pre-shipment since Thursday morning (ordered late Wednesday night). Not saying I’m impatient (gonna be honest, yes I am impatient, but I’m more along the lines of very excited since he’s my first CB dragon), and it could be due to the fact I’m not a part of a membership, club, or even the fact I ordered three days after a supposedly huge thing had dropped and they’re still fulfilling orders (my algorithm for CB social media is extremely funky).

I’d contact customer sevice on the issue about my nonexistent order history, but from what I’ve gathered info-wise on Reddit and other sites, the US customer service reps are supposedly quite rude, and I’d rather not go through the ordeal of it.

But is this normal for anyone else? ☹️
