Three-fer!

This lovely great horned owl was getting absolutely harangued by the robins when a Rufus hummingbird also decided to participate. I was about 50 meters away and it was dusk: I would have loved to have gotten closer but didn't want to bother the owl even more.

Found hens

I found a couple of hens in the Cedar Grove area. Let me know if you're missing them and I'll return them to you. Photo of my rooster for attention, describe the hens and they're yours.

Egg identification?

A distant neighbor found these when clearing out part of his property. Absolutely no chickens around (too many predators, no close neighbors). No water nearby either. Mixed forest with majority of evergreen, about 350 elevation in NW Washington State in King County. Any ideas? He indicated they were the size of chicken eggs.
