I love YNAB but I've been shopping around for an alternative that solved the transaction auto-categorization problem that YNAB couldn't. It seems that Lunch Money is way more automated and adjustable in terms of categorizing transactions, while offering zero based budgeting and the envelope method that YNAB is sought after for.

The mobile app is pretty nice but it's only useful if you first sign up in a web browser. And opening the mobile app works best if you start with a single budget. There's a little bug that blocks the button to select your budget. But there's a workaround... You just need to open another app then switch back to it without quitting it.
The ios mobile app is reminds me of Gusto. Super sleek and fresh. It makes me want to use it way more than the web browser version, although the web browser version is much more suited for desktop and laptops than for mobile use.
