Hi, I (23M) was diagnosed with early stage testicular cancer and underwent surgery for it, I got my pathology report which says this

Cancer type: Seminoma

Side: Left testis

Tumor size: 3.6 cm

Cancer confined to testis: YES

Spread into epididymis/tunica/spermatic cord: NO

Lymphatic or blood vessel invasion: NOT identified

Margins: Negative

Stage: pT1b

The cut section of the testis shows an encapsulated, relatively circumscribed nodule. ​Tumor Extent: Confined to the testis. ​Free Structures: The epididymis and tunica albuginea are completely free of tumor.

My doctor said I have 2 options, one is active surveillance and 2nd is to get 1-2 preventive cycles for chemo tho active surveillance will be required anyways

What should I go for? I'm not sure about this, I don't want to deal with chemo again in future as there has been cancer in my family (esophagus) and it was a traumatic experience for us
