Homemade Traitors game
I’m organising a homemade Traitors game with a bunch of friends. We’ve booked a spacious house on Airbnb for a day, so we’re going to have around 4-5 hours of gameplay with all the other stuff planned (preparation, other board games, breaks etc.).
In total, there’ll be 11 or 12 players competing. How many traitors do you think I should select at the beginning of the game - 2 or 3? Selecting 2 might be a bit low as I’m worried the Faithful will be disappointed if they keep missing them at the Round Table. At the same time, 3 might be too many as basically they’re only going to have 3-4 Round Table elimination rounds and 3-4 murders before entering the finale with 5 players left (assuming no murders are failed due to attempting to kill a shielded Faithful). If no traitors are found at the first three Round Tables, then the Traitors are in the majority…
What do you think? Especially those who have hosted / participated in homemade games.
Edit: Of course I’m planning to include recruitment rules into the game as well.
