Could I safely put a large tank on top of this?

my huge dresser looks super empty and i’m wanting to start up a tank again, but i’m wondering if you guys would be confident putting maybe a ~40g breeder tank on here. the measurements for the tank would fit on top no problem but i’m concerned about the weight once filled. it doesn’t creak or lean or wobble or anything but the gap between the floor and dresser make me nervous 😭

edit for more details:
-the dresser is made of real wood, not like that pressed cardboard bs they make furniture from now
-top layer is about 1 1/2 - 2 inches thick
-feels like pretty rock solid, i’ve banged objects and myself against this dresser and the other object or myself has received most damage lol.
-for about 15 yrs i had a huge tv and many other heavier tv accessories/electronics on it with no issues

how to stop paint chipping and is there any way to fix it?

this is my favorite wallet, i use it every day and im not at all ready to let go yet 😭 mostly im concerned about the paint chipping off inside but im also curious if i could get the outside cleaner without just stripping the design. im on a tight budget so i cant really afford to just take it to the cleaners or a professional.. pls let me know if this isn’t the right subreddit 😅
