I got a mangonada today and it was literally the worst smoothie I had ever tasted.

It was just like a normal mango smoothie, except they had poured straight chamoy in the bottom, and it was like swallowing warm, rancid ketchup. There were distinct notes of vinegar and tomato and did I mention it was warm.

I cannot imagine that Mexican folks tasted that and said to themselves, boy I need some more. It was gross. I ended up drinking just the parts that had no chamoy and throwing away the rest.
