Could it be That Russell T Davies was going to leave Doctor who regardless of the ratings and if the Disney deal fell through ?

Because he has his own show, Tip Toe, to do do maybe he was going to leave after the Christmas special regardless. He was doing work for a third season but maybe he intended to leave that for something for a new showruner. But those were meant for Ncuti and with him leaving they could not be used.

What do you think is most likely about all of this and how come ?

Could the reason that Ashoka season 2 is going to be delayed for early 2027 is that they are going to try and get maul shadow lord out in late 2026 instead because it has been so popular?

Sam may have said we did not have to wait too long for next season.

Because of the issues of clone wars being on CN Disney did continue with it and made their own animated show.

Could not have Lucas kept going over clone was things, get someone else to do the other things in Lucasfilm and spend enough with his family before looking to sell ?

Was there money 💰 issues with Lucasfilm at the time 🕰️ that needed quick attention?
