Man. 2 weeks ago I said, "It's time to start writing Chapter 3." And now it's two weeks later, and it's that but more now. I gotta get on that shiz. BUT!
Let me lay some skinny on you. Maybe even a fat or two, and if we're lucky, a -phat-.
The house I recently moved into is a house my friend inherited that we're fixing up to sell. And let me tell you. This house is full of things to fix. Hell! We keep adding things to the list that were WORKING when we got here! 1st day I got here, AC to the wing of the house I'm in dies. The fridge has died 3 times. We order a part and replace the broken part of the fridge each time, which fixes it, but then a new part breaks. By the end of this I'll be a certified fridge technician. The lawnmower died that first week too.
The twisty-switch of a lamp fell out when I turned it. I get the house is effed, but why is the stuff INSIDE IT broken!? Anyway. The toilet (the "watercloset loo throne" for you people over the seas) needs a new wax seal. One of the door handles just pulls straight out of the door when you pull it. Why does that happen? What series of events led that to be able to occur? The bathroom sink handle doesn't turn, the entire housing fixture rotates. That's normal, probably.
Point is - we're BUSY. I am not chronically online anymore and it's a system shock. I'm trying my best but I can only juggle so many projects. Even without a silly haunted house, my to-do list piles up faster than it's physically possible to knock them out. I just want to create, man. I want to be writing 5 comics at once, selling my little eBay things, and run an anime con. Is that so much to ask? It is actually, if you didn't catch that. Some people are like "oh if I got 100 Million Dollars I'd buy a mansion." HOMIE. I WOULD BE CREATING SO MUCH COOL SHIT. I mean I would ALSO have a mansion but that's BESIDES THE POINT. (and a gold statue of myself in the foyer)

I'm still moving! Well, I moved. I'm getting settled. I think I'm 98% settled. My TV remote had shampoo in it. (It did not work.) Diagnosis: Definitely Shampoo. If you ever get a diagnosis of Definitely Shampoo, it's probably over for you tbh. Don't know why there was shampoo in it, that mf doesn't even have hair.

That'd be kind of neat. Build your decks, get randomly matched or rank matched, flip a coin for who goes first, have leaderboards.

So I went into the final fight(......s) without any specific preparation because I didn't know any particulars. I did fine on most everything, I even did the part I'm about to ask about first try, SOMEHOW, but I want to know what I was missing.
So the rotating elements wings fight. The team constantly says "We have to take out the wings!!" The wings clearly rotate elements. You clearly use their opposing element.
However. None of the available teammates had any elemental magic materia on them, which leaves Yuffie as the sole source of elemental damage.
Now, I did not use Yuffie a whole lot throughout the game, but I thought I'd had a decent handle on how to use her movesets.
From my understanding, the idea was to use her Elemental Jutsu, then wail on the wings. Thing is, I wasn't 100% certain if her jutsu applied to all her attacks, or just her dodge+square 3-lines-going-out-from-her attack. (That's the only one I ever had obvious success with elemental damage.)
I ask, because her shuriken was not doing shit. The damage was negligible and I wasn't seeing any Weakness indicators when attacking.
So then I tried doing just other stuff, and nothing was working, at all. It was very, very frustrating. This part took so long, that I actually ended up beating the thing by slowly chipping away the main body's health over however long. I never disabled a wing or anything.
The rest of the fights went fine.
So like --- what did I miss? Do I just have fundamental misunderstanding of how Yuffie's elemental ninjutsu works? Was I not outputting damage correctly? Like clearly I just fucked this entire section up.
Lmao. I am trying to do everything. (Normal mode.) I'm on Chapter 13. I'm doing quests. Everything unlocks something else. You beat the middle manager. Oh, nope, he wants to challenge you to 3D Brawler. Finally, you've beat him. Nope, you just unlocked another 3D Brawler. Beat the cactuars. Now beat them again but more. You've unlocked the Shinra Manor training area. You've unlocked Hojo's training area. You've unlocked Hojo's lab. You've unlocked more monsters to fight. You've unlocked more Chadley fights. Ah, you did the final quest. New quests are available in Corel!! You helped me write a book, you're done! Are you SURE? Are you sure I'm done?? jk go climb a tower for Cissnei and look at stupid fucking birds. You're the best there ever was. You're the best there could ever be. But some fucking guy is better, actually.
I am begging you, game. There is too much. There is too much to do in you. There is a limit. you Broke the Limit. Tug a metal chicken feeder, everybody. FINAL FANTASY!!!!!!!
Sorry, I'm 160 hours into this game and I'm losing my fucking mind.
I cannot find the actual name of this artist for the life of me. They made a remix of the song Strangers by Kenya Grace that I really like, but I can't find it anywhere because I can't get the name of the artist right. I have the artist saved in my notes as "jw11lkn" but it's not that and I can't get any variants to hit either. So I come to experts for help. Any help? Appreciated!
In Final Fantasy games, Bombs self-destruct to kill you. Presumably, there would be no reason for them to do this evolutionarily. Unless we look at a similar creature in real life, bees. Bees can sting to protect their hive, but then die themselves. So we have to assume that Bombs are protecting some sort of Bomb hive, and self-destructing is for the good of the colony.
Or they're just assholes.
Edit: This is supported by the existence of Bomb Kings and Bomb Queens
