US Southwest Sports Fan (NFL, CFB, MLB, NBA) – Strong & Trex ghost channels issue on Apple TV. What’s the move?

Hey everyone,
Looking for some advice on service selection and setup. I’m based in the US Southwest region, and sports are strictly my number one priority.
My order of importance:

  1. NFL
  2. College Football
  3. MLB
  4. NBA
  5. Any other live sport
(I host all my movies and TV shows on my own Plex server, so I couldn't care less about VOD libraries or series quality. I only care about live sports reliability, local regional sports networks (RSNs), and 50/60fps streams).
    The Problem
I bought from reseller platforms like G2G/u7 (so I don't need reseller dms, thanks)They’ll have tons of event-specific channels labeled for a game, but when I click into them, there’s no feed playing.
    Apple TV 4K (Main driver)
    iOS (iPhone/iPad on the go)
    Questions for the community:
  6. Service Lineup: If Strong and Trex are giving me empty/dead channels during game time, what service provider actually holds up for US sports (especially Southwest regional stuff / sports packages)? Is B1G, dream or Mega better suited for raw live US sports?
  7. Apple Ecosystem Apps: Right now I need the best player interface for tvOS/iOS. Should I be using UHF, iPlayTV, IPTVX, or iSTB to handle sports EPGs cleanly?

Thank you guys for the help

What replaced VSF

I’m looking on the wiki and all the other helpful things on this Reddit, but I can’t seem to find anything that replaced VSF, it looks like it was the best rep. Any other suggestions?

iOS 26.2 destroyed my iPhone 15 Pro Max & Watch Series 7 — anyone else? Fixed yet?

Updated to iOS 26.2 day one. Big mistake.

Both my iPhone 15 Pro Max and Apple Watch Series 7 went completely sideways after the update. iPhone was dropping frames constantly — scrolling, animations, opening apps, all of it choppy as hell. Watch had its own issues too. Performance was so bad I ended up replacing both devices.

Now I’m sitting here on a new phone/watch, scared to update again, but I really want the call screening feature that came with this iOS. Feels dumb to buy new hardware and stay on an old OS.

Questions:

•	Anyone else hit this on 15 Pro Max or Series 7 specifically?
•	Has Apple pushed a patch that actually fixed the frame drop/glitchiness?
•	Safe to update now or still a mess?

Not trying to go through that again. Appreciate any input from people who updated after the initial launch.

I have the same phone and watch that I bought third-party. Now I’m on iOS 18.7 wondering what the best thing to do is.
