I'd love to hear your short story suggestions :]

Fiction exploring mental disorders, especially characters and their experiences with them.

This is usually best categorized in the modern day as new weird but I kinda want older stories, also don't be too worried about if it is too close to fantasy as that's a hard ask, really I just want old speculative fiction, the definitions can and should vary on your personal opinions and preferences

I'd say "long running" means over five books, but honestly this question is meant to be left up to interpretation. as long as it is a very long story across multiple books and is good the whole time I'm sure it'll be great.

I've been curious about this lately but googling has given me mostly just conspiracy articles, I'm just curious about rules that people believed were rules of the universe but were proven false at some point, I apologize if this is a verbosely phrased question I'm more of a humanities person lol, thank you for your time

I do not know how to describe this but I'm fascinated by the narrative structure of these books and how they explore themes through something so banal
