Hi everyone! Headed to provence July 13 and wanted to see if anyone knew the status on the lavender fields or if they’ll be all cut by then due to the high heat. Merci!

I'm for sure going with an elongated OMC but am divided on the carat size. I have a smaller ring size 4.75-5 and am thinking 3 cts.

The jeweler assured me it would be big enough but now social media is making me second guess that it will face up the way I imagine.

Looking for feedback, thoughts and of course pics (on all sizes so I can oooogle). I just want to see and hear about how you like the OMC as it's not always a well known cut.
