Help with Angelfish

I got my first angelfish 4 days ago and I'm worried. He started hiding between my HOB filter and the corner of the tank, and I just found him laying against the side of my HOB filter where the vent is. I thought he was dead! Thankfully he moved when I went to scoop him out, but what is going on? He's definitely slower than the rest of my tank so he hasn't been eating well. I decided to move him to my isolation box to see if he's any better after a little rest and some more targeted feeding.

Tank parameters are fine except my ph is high from the source. I add driftwood and almond leaves but the leaves are new so it's taking time.

I also have platies, diamond tetras, siamese algae eaters and otocinclus

(I'm not sure the gender, just saying he for reference)
