Dual fuel towel rail

I'm very confused about what valves to buy to replace my towel radiator? I have managed to source the same exact radiator, and a new electric element but it needs the right, corner valves I think?

Radiator is this one: https://vogueuk.co.uk/product/ladder-rails/focus/

Here is my old radiator (attached), and someone said to get these valves (also attached), but don't think they're the right ones, are they?

Any suggestions for what valves I should be buying? Thanks

Magic Fit Mirror - anyone using one? (Specific Qs on AI tracking, injuries & gamification)

I've seen that magic.fit are running a pretty aggressive sales campaign right now (£500 off + lifetime sub) and I'm very tempted. I'm a 55M who thrives on gamification to stay consistent with habits, so on paper, this looks perfect.

However, I have one major red flag holding me back: I have a history of a bulging disc and an annular tear in my lower back. Because of this, I strictly adhere to Dr. Stuart McGill principles - no sit-ups, no crunches, and absolutely no heavy spinal loading or twisting.

For those who own one, I’d love your honest take:

  1. How rigid is the AI tracking? If a workout calls for a deadlift or a crunch and I modify it to be back-safe (or just skip the set), does the software freak out, mark my form as "wrong," or ruin my stats? Can you tell the app to exclude certain movements?

  2. The Gamification: Is the data tracking (reps, form, progression) actually addictive enough to keep you coming back, or is it a gimmick that wears off?

  3. Overall Verdict: Happy? Disappointed? Anything you wish you'd known before buying it?

  4. Returns: Did anyone end up returning it? If so, why, and was the 30-day return process as painful as some older reviews suggest?

Thanks in advance.

TruDiagnostic in the UK via LolaHealth - is it worth the spend at 55?

I’m 55 and have spent the last 4 months trying to sort my health out (Sleep apnea/CPAP, fixing high homocysteine, APOE4, bad back/disc issue).

Anyone done one of these tests? I was looking at lolahealth who have partnered with TruDiagnostic to offer their test in the UK --> https://lolahealth.com/products/trudiagnostic-truage-test . They seem to be the only ones offering the DunedinPACE algorithm at a semi-reasonable price point.

My concerns:

I'm a bit of a data person, so I’m prone to over-measuring, but at £350+, I want to know if this is a vanity metric or a legitimate "speedometer" for my biological aging rate.

Homocysteine at 15.97, APOE4, and MTRR mutation. Just starting Igennus B-Complex. Reality check?

At 55, I finally did a deep dive into my bloods and genetics. Turns out I’m an APOE4 carrier and have the MTRR (G;G) methylation bottleneck. My Homocysteine just came back at 15.97 µmol/L.

I've been reading a lot about the "Medicine 3.0" approach lately (Attia, Greger, Patrick, etc.), and from what I've read (especially Greger’s How Not to Age), anything over 12 is like sandpaper on my blood vessels and for an APOE4 carrier, that level of brain atrophy risk is massive.

I’m starting the Igennus Super B-Complex (methylated) tomorrow (2 tablets/day).

To the community:

  1. For those who found themselves in the 15+ range, how quickly did methylated B-vits move the needle?

  2. Is a sub-12 target in 90 days realistic, or should I be aiming for sub-10?

  3. I’m especially focused on the "reversal" question: Obviously, we want to stop the atrophy, but has anyone seen cognitive or cardiovascular markers actually improve after dropping Homocysteine, or is this purely a "stop the bleed" exercise?

▲ 5 r/CPAP+1 crossposts

I've been using a CPAP machine now since the 1st Jan and, once I changed my mask, it got better - my ahi came down to below 5 pretty consistently, but I'm still waking up exhausted. After analysing my Oscar data with ai it seems to be my FLs and RERAs that are causing the problem.

I've tried tweaking the settings on the machine - increasing the pressure, decreasing the pressure, even tried wearing a cervical collar (which wasn't too bad actually), I look ridiculous when I go to sleep now, but my FLs were still in the 100s of events every night.

Apparently, the reason I'm feeling exhausted every morning still, despite wearing the mask for the full 7.5hr night, is because "my body is effectively running a marathon while I'm sleeping - my heart, my brain, my lungs are all working so hard that when I wake up in the morning I'm exhausted.

Why don't the docs look at FLs as well as AHI? Has anyone else had this problem/cracked this problem?
