AITA for exploring "the potty"

So I (17 months) most adorable boy, tho my mama calls me a troublemaker, have "big kids" in my house my sis is free and my brother is bigger. The grown ups decided the big kids need to be "potty trained." Something about diapers being so expensive and the big kids are big enough to be out of them.

Anyways, mama, dada, and mama's friend take the big kids potty *all the time* so of course I have to explore the potty when I have access. I like to take a run in there and make sissy laugh and then explore the short potty(apparently there are 2 kinds?) I like to put my hands in it, cause how else am I to examine it?

This causes mama to "lose her mind" when I do this, but I **haveta** explore, I mean it's kinda my job as a professional baby, right?

So, AITA?

AITA for trying to drink coffee when they wouldn't let me nap

So I(17 month all busy boy) had an adventure today with my mom, her friends, and the "big kids"(3? 4?) We went to the library for "story time" with a puppy. I climbed on chairs, played chase, played with the puppy and had an awesome time.

When it was time to go I started doing my sleepy thing(pulling my hair, closing my eyes, etc) but they all switched it up. Moms friend sat next to me in the back to "keep the baby awake." We do this evvvvveeeeerrryyytiiiimmmeeee. I always win, but today she tried a new thing.

She let me hold her cup that had a little bit of coffee in it. I don't know much about coffee, just that mommy and her friend think it's the best thing ever and wakes them up.) Anyways, I played with the cup and tried to use the straw like the big kids do and she took it away and said "coffee isn't for babies." However she GAVE IT BACK TO ME, so again I tried to get it.

Then she took it away and made it so I couldn't make the straw work!!!!!!

AITA for being upset that they teased me with this "Scooter's coffee?" The way they talk about it I think it must be the nectar of the god's...

Insomnia

So we all know that fibro often has an insomnia aspect. I mean I've been officially dealing with fibro almost 30 years, and unofficially most of my life so I know.

I was on Amitriptyline when I was 1st diagnosed, and stopped it, why I can't remember, but I did. Then I stayed off of it because I had kids and no time to reacclimate to it. I went back on it 6 years ago.

Well it worked for awhile, then it stopped so we'd increase the dose, it would work a bit, but inevitably it would stop again. I was up to the daily max for a few days but I had some scary side effects and I backed off and my Dr and I both came to the conclusion we needed to try something else.

So after tapering off of it I was finally switched to Trazadone. That was like last Saturday. I swear M&Ms would do more. I took it at 7 pm. It's currently 1220 & I'm wide awake. I've been up until at least 3 am every night since, 5 am a couple days.

I have a Dr appt in 12 days. I will definitely be speaking to the Dr about another med change. My question is what are people on for sleep? What options have worked for you?

Even when the amitriptyline wasn't working great I got more sleep than this week, even tho I was still utterly exhausted all the time. Literally I have done next to nothing all week. One day I supervised my friend making Philly cheese steak egg rolls. I did nothing, just entertained her baby and reminded her 3 yr old to stay away from the stove. Came home and accomplished nothing.

Any suggestions? Cause I'm *over* this.
