Bad devaluation on Hyatt Ziva Los Cabo’s

Been trying to book some dates for a vacation, but it kept getting pushed back. Was seeing Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos at 35k which I considered over priced. It was 30k points normally priced two years ago and the cash prices haven’t gone up. Now I’m looking at 145k points for 3 nights at the beginning of December. Cash price is around $1400. Thinking of doing 110k Chase UR points with my reserve in the portal, but I dislike not booking directly. Staying at Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal so will probably already be eating in town and spending money so feel like it would even out. Going with my wife and our one year old.

I just feel like Hyatt points are more difficult to obtain and the sweet spot all inclusive and category 4s are a rip off with this new dynamic pricing. I have no status and just rotate through Marriott Hilton IHG and Hyatt depending on points and deals I can get through churning credit cards, but I feel like it’s leaning towards free flights and paying cash for hotels more often now.
