Plein Air New Bern, North Carolina
Just Back from Plein Air New Bern where I won two awards for my work, The first was the Best Historical Award for my painting 'Given Back to the Earth', of The Old Burying Ground in Beaufort. The cemetery was started in the early 1700's.
The last day of the competition was the 2 hour quick draw. There were only two awards in the professional category 1st and 2nd place and my painting 'Delivery Yard' won 2nd place. A big thank you to the Judge, Russell Jewell and to the organizers. Congratulations to the other award winners.
