Crested aucklet (Aethia cristatella). Apparently, they develop an tangerine-like odour during breeding season.

Indian Spiny Tailed Lizard (Saara hardwickii)
Found in arid regions of India and Pakistan. I really appreciate how dino-shaped these guys are. These herbivorous lizards are threatened by illegal poaching. Their meat is considered a delicacy and their fat is used as an aphrodisiac in traditional medicine.

These are endemic to the state of Kerela in southern India. The Western ghats are really a treasure trove of cool animals. Recent discovery of Gitchak nakana (a subterranean loach) peaked my interest in phreatobitic fish and that led me to find out about these.
