My mom has been at my house for the last week helping with our first born. She has been placing him on his side with a rolled up blanket around his back, through his legs and up his front. He does sleep way better but it terrifies me. We rented a snoo and he has always been swaddled up tightly on his back. But he doesn’t stay asleep. Maybe 20 min max. He has been staying asleep on his side under supervision. He seems happier and less cranky. I looked online and purchased a baby side sleeping pillow which will cradle him in a safer way.
Does anyone have experience with this? Is this a huge no no? Everything I read says nothing but on their back. My mom seems to think it’s fine.
