Is It Just Me Or Ferry Experience Literally Decides Your Whole Andaman Trip?

Okay real question for people who already visited Andaman 👀

Why do travel packages only talk about beaches and resorts but NEVER explain the ferry situation between Port Blair, Havelock Island, and Neil Island 💀

I recently found out that some ferries are super old, crowded, and shaky while newer luxury ferries apparently make the whole island-hopping experience smooth af 🌊✨ Honestly feels like ferry choice lowkey matters more than hotel selection 😭

Also saw people talking about faster catamarans, smoother rides, less seasickness, better seating, and quicker boarding which sounds WAY better than wasting hours at jetties.

Anyone here recently travelled Andaman in 2025/2026? Which ferry service actually gave the best experience between Port Blair, Havelock & Neil Island? And are luxury ferry upgrades actually worth it or just marketing? 👀

Wait… Andaman Has NIGHT TREKKING Too?!

Okay but why did nobody tell me the Andamans become a completely different universe after sunset 💀 Everyone talks about beaches and scuba diving, but the real hidden-core experience is night trekking in Andaman.
Imagine walking through rainforests near Havelock Island hearing jungle sounds everywhere, spotting glowing fungi, ghost crabs, owls, bioluminescence, and seeing the Milky Way with almost zero light pollution 😭✨ It genuinely sounds like a fantasy game map.
Also apparently you should NEVER do these treks solo because tropical jungle at night is not the place for “main character confidence” 💀

Drop your craziest Andaman night experiences below.

Is it just me or is Andaman suddenly becoming everyone’s “soft life” destination in 2026?

Like one minute people were obsessed with Goa and Bali, and now my entire feed is full of Havelock sunsets, scuba reels, beach cafés, ferry vlogs, bioluminescence videos, and aesthetic island-core content 💀

What’s actually the MOST overrated and underrated thing in Andaman right now?
Could be beaches, cafés, ferry services, nightlife, scuba spots, hidden gems, food places, literally anything 👀

Need honest opinions before planning my next island trip

Okay But Sustainable Shopping in Andaman Is Actually SO Underrated 😭

Ngl I thought Andaman shopping would just be seashell magnets and overpriced tourist stuff 💀 But the local artisan scene is genuinely beautiful. Found handcrafted coconut shell décor, bamboo baskets, driftwood art, and Nicobarese mats that looked straight out of Pinterest

any good/bad experience from anyone???

Nautika Ferry Was Surprisingly So Good 😭 Which Ferry Is Actually The Best In Andaman?

Okay but why was my Nautika ferry experience in Andaman actually so good 😭💀

Recently travelled between Port Blair, Havelock Island, and Neil Island using Nautika and lowkey expected ferry chaos… but the experience was surprisingly smooth. Clean ferry, chill vibes, helpful staff, comfy seating, and the ocean views were straight-up main character energy ✨

Now I’m curious though — which ferry services in Andaman do you guys personally recommend? 👀
Like which one has the best service, punctual timings, less sea sickness drama, good staff behavior, comfy seats, and overall smooth island hopping experience?

Just curious hehe

Came to Andaman for Beaches… Stayed for the Food 😭🌊

Ngl the Port Blair food scene is SO underrated 💀 One minute you’re beach hopping, next minute you’re eating fresh lobster, crab curry, rooftop seafood platters, dosa, and iced coffee with ocean views like you’re in a travel reel.

Places like Lighthouse Restaurant, Annapurna, Love Garden, and The Andaman Kitchen are genuinely worth trying if you want the best restaurants in Port Blair. From seafood restaurants in Andaman to rooftop cafés and beachside dining, the island food scene honestly slaps 🌴✨

Neil Island Was The Best Part Of My Andaman Trip

Honestly, Neil Island feels underrated compared to Havelock. The beaches are quieter, the sunsets are insane, and the whole island has a calm vibe that’s perfect for photography.

Laxmanpur Beach during sunset looks unreal, and the Bharatpur Beach swings are even prettier in person. Sitapur Beach at sunrise was probably the most peaceful moment of the trip.

Even riding through the island roads surrounded by coconut trees felt aesthetic.

Not gonna lie — I thought Andaman shopping would be basic tourist stuff, but it’s actually kinda worth it.

Pearls are a big deal there, but you REALLY need to know where you’re buying from or you’ll get scammed. Aberdeen Bazaar is fun but थोड़ा chaotic, while government shops are more legit.

Also found out you can’t take raw shells or corals… so yeah don’t risk that.

Overall, if you plan it right (especially your ferry timing), shopping becomes a chill last-day activity instead of stress.

Not even exaggerating tried kayaking in Havelock and the water legit glows at night. It’s called bioluminescence and looks straight out of a movie.

Day kayaking is chill (mangroves, peaceful vibes), but night kayaking is the real main character moment.

If you’re planning Andaman, don’t skip this. Just make sure you go on a dark night — full moon kinda ruins it.
Also random but important — take a good ferry. You’ll thank yourself later.

Everyone talks about scuba and snorkeling but honestly the glass bottom boat ride in Andaman is such a chill experience.

You just sit and watch corals + fish through the glass — no effort, no stress, still get insane views. Tried it at Elephant Beach and it was actually worth it.

Also random tip — ferry matters more than you think. Took a smooth ride with GoNautika and it lowkey made the whole trip better (no seasick drama 😭)

Hot take: If you go to Andaman and don’t try water sports, you wasted your trip.

This place isn’t just about beaches. It’s India’s most insane water sports destination right now. We’re talking crystal-clear water, crazy marine life, and activities that actually feel worth the money.

Parasailing here gives you unreal views of coral reefs. Sea walking lets non-swimmers explore underwater like it’s nothing. Jet skiing is fast, chaotic, and fun. And kayaking through glowing water at night? Yeah, that’s real.

But here’s where most people mess up — travel between islands. If your ferry is slow or uncomfortable, your whole plan gets messed up. Fast ferries like Nautika honestly make a huge difference.

Don’t go unprepared.
