Hi
I'm (32) an electrical engineer by education. 8 yrs work experience in IT (AI & digital product management, supply chain digitalization ).
Wife (31) is a medical doctor with 6.5 yrs work experience. Have done a few intl projects for my company. Wife will complete fcps part 2 in one years time IA!
Looking to get a second passport.
Seems skills based route is saturated for anz. Bet seems to be provincial nominations or wife's consultancy pathway.
Has anyone been in such a scenario and can advise on the most realistic way forward.
Alhamdolillah have a toddler child if it matters.
Would you advise for the National innovation visa and know of anyone who received it?
[Edit] Resolved: So I rescheduled and it went ahead successfully without me havigng to pay additionally. Caveat: My personal Learn account is tagged to my university account (yes my uni account still gives me access). That uni is in the MS ESI program. So I'm not sure if its a contributing factor but the ESI discount stood well.
[Urgent] I have a couple of hours before the ability to reschedule for no charge.
I scheduled an exam via Microsoft ESI as i was employed with a MS partner org. I scheduled the exam for a later date as i wanted to give myself a runway to be able to prepare. However, things went sideways and the company shutdown its operations in my particular country. The company itself globally exists. Now i want to reschedule the exam.
An AI search says:
"Why Rescheduling Will Cause an Issue
When you first scheduled the exam, your Microsoft Learn profile was actively linked to your old employer’s ESI portal, which applied the corporate discount (or voucher) to your cart.
When you click Reschedule via Microsoft Learn, the system redirects you back through the certification dashboard to Pearson VUE. During this handshake, the system automatically checks your current eligibility. Since you are no longer with the company, your corporate account has likely been deactivated, or your ESI eligibility has expired.
Can someone verify this via first hand experience?
Do I take the leap and just attempt unprepared or do I do the reschedule.
Thankyou in advance!
