"I carried galaxies inside my chest, too much love, nowhere to rest." — A 1-minute preview of a track I wrote about emotional burnout and heartbreak.
Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a quick 1-minute snippet of a new track called "Galaxies We Couldn’t Hold" by my project Static Orbits.
My music splits into two distinct worlds, and this one belongs to the grounded, everyday side of life. It’s a progressive indie rock track about emotional burnout—that exhausting feeling of overflowing with love, overextending yourself for others, and still ending up feeling completely empty and lost in the daily grind.
Musically, it starts with a very introspective, ambient guitar pulse and lifts into a wide, emotional chorus to match that heavy feeling in your chest.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on the lyrics and the overall mix! If you’ve ever felt this kind of tiredness, I hope it resonates with you. Static Orbits is on all streaming platforms (links in my bio) if you want to check out the full track. Thanks for listening!
