The atmosphere and character development for Undertone fell flat. If you want a similar feel with more terror and dread, watch Host. Low budget and delivers the sense of overwhelming terror while creating an unsettling atmosphere.
I tried giving Undertone a chance. The amount of times I fell asleep during moments that were supposed to create suspense and terror were too much. This film sucks. Point blank.
Now, if you want a similar feel with a better casting and a real life experience, watch Host. It came out during the pandemic and the pace of the film is a nonstop adrenaline rush.
