Just over 10 weeks ago I went from full time to a 0.8 contract and applied for phased retirement. I had never really had any dealings with Teachers Pensions before. I got no acknowledgement or an estimate of progress only a brief message on my account saying that they were going to send me a LSA form. They didn't say in what format but I received nothing. I have tried ringing them but the queue is horrendous and I either get timed out or I have to leave. I contacted them through the website, none of the subject options were suitable so I made it a complaint. I got the standard "we will reply in 15 working days" message, it's been 20 now and nothing.

Presumably my retirement package is on hold until I return a form that they don't seem capable of sending me and I can't talk to them about it. Is this standard practice?

Hi. I picked up an original Vertical when the price dropped. I use it mainly for GPS navigation when hiking. One issue that I have is that when I am following a route I cannot return to the watch face without ending the activity. Is this correct or am I missing something? It would be nice to leave the map running in the background and check the time, weather forecast etc but the buttons just scroll through the activity stats.
