What should I do about my summer classes?
So boom, right, i signed up for 4 credit hours originally which was going to be $2688 out of pocket for me. I dug a little into it, and found out that if i do 5+ credit hours i could get sum money from the year-round pell grant thingy. so i signed up for one more class now holding me at 7 credit hours and costing me $4704. THEN my pell grant stuff got updated so id be getting $2071. All this to say, financially, id be back to where I was. So, i was looking for any one credit hours classes hoping that i could just barelyyy get the 5 hours and use the pell money to my advantage. but i cant find any that are online at uic and im like pretty sure im cooked. So, should I just unregister for my classes this summer?
Note: im newly unemployed so this is a lot of money for me and i don’t wanna pull out loans. for now ima keep looking, but its not looking so good
