Budgeting/saving up for a horse?

Hi everyone!

I just turned 21 and this summer I have my first professional job. It is an internship for 3 months, after which I will be returning to University to finish up my senior year. I am an Architectural engineering major- my hope is to work for 4 years as a engineer doing design work (this is required to get my PE licensing in the US) but I ultimately want to work in construction management, which is what I am doing now in my internship.

Anyways, I want to set up a plan for buying my own horse as soon as possible. I’ve been riding/around horses to 10+ years, and recently I’ve been exercising horses for free as a way to keep riding through college. I’ve leased in the past and while I enjoy it, it ultimately isn’t what i want to do long term. I don’t love to show (only would do that as a way to bring up my own horse) or lesson for the same reason.

My current plan is to do the obvious, save money by living below my means and try to invest a portion of every paycheck. Does anyone have any other advice for me in this situation? 😊

Store that sells cases of Grillos x Pabst Blue Ribbon

Hi everyone I’m looking for this pickle flavored beer, preferably somewhere near Marshfield. Has anyone seen it?
