I know he released like 2 albums recently or at least, one album and one collection of songs or something. It’s been very interesting for sure. And he’s performing near me in Hamilton Ontario at the end of this month. But I can’t go on that day. I’ve never seen him live. Been a fan for 30+ years! My question is, will he tour again in future? Any idea? I hope this is not like the final tour or something.
So, I’ve always been interested in German. I love the history, Cold War, Berlin Wall, reunification etc and I’ve always supported the German soccer team in World cups etc. I have an active interest in the culture. I started learning the language in the mid 2000s but always did it as a hobby on the side, didn’t progress to fluency. But I feel I have a solid basic foundation in the language.
I’ve also been living in Canada for the last 10 years, a citizen now settled here and thinking about switching to French. Last week, I started learning very basic French.
On one hand, I want to finish learning German because I’ve always been passionate about it. On the other hand, French is more useful, not only in Canada but worldwide. Some family members around me including my own kids are learning French. But I don’t want to just abandon my German progress.
I looked into learning 2 languages at the same time but many people seem to advise against it, saying the focus to master one won’t be there.
I know these kind of things are personal and only I would know what’s best for me. But I’d like some opinions please, to help me decide what to do here. Language I’m passionate about vs. Very useful language!
I have been listening to a custom smart playlist of never before played songs from my extensive library and actively favouriting songs that I like. I think it is helping the algorithm. Today I didn’t go to Marvis. I simply played my name station for an hour and it was really good! ♥️ …hopefully I can stop going to YouTube Music Supermix altogether! 🤞🏽
Do you download any music from Apple Music?
I only use my iPhone for Apple Music, so don’t want to fill it up with everything from my library. But I don’t know how to go about it. I don’t know what exactly I’ll feel like listening to when I’m without Internet data. Any suggestions?

I am not sure how to go about it because when I was on YouTube Music, it was easy. Their smart downloads feature automatically downloads and keeps updating a random bunch of songs based on how much storage you are willing to let it occupy. But you don’t have to do any of the work choosing the music. It would do all the work based on your listening. I thought that was really cool. I don’t think Apple Music has that.
Not sure if it’s because I’ve been operating my Apple Music extensively through Marvis custom mixes? But it seems to be pretty enjoyable at the moment at least. 🙂
…ever since I downloaded and started using Marvis Pro. It is worth its weight in gold! One time fee of $15 whatever is totally worth it. The algorithm in my custom mixes has been fantastic! It is as good or even better than the YouTube Music Supermix. Hope it stays that way. 🤞🏽
