dad wants me to go to a bryan adams concert
My (25f) dad (59m) really wants me to go to a Bryan Adams concert that’s coming to my city in a few months. It came out of the blue because he’s not really a fan of Bryan Adams and has never mentioned him before. I know his hits, but I honestly haven’t listened to him much.
For context: he is not asking me to go WITH him. If he was asking me to go with him I absolutely would; we currently live on different continents, so I’m not sure why this matters so much to him he just really seems to want me to go see Bryan Adams and keeps texting me about it, and I keep giving him non-answers to buy myself more time.
How do I break the news to him gently?
TLDR: My dad wants me to go to a Bryan Adams concert and I’m not sure if I want to go.
