I started a new island so if ur super rich i could use any spare bells🙏 but not at all necessary, what's most important is that she goes to an island that will really cherish her. I've somehow had her as one of my first villagers for all three of my islands, so i'm kinda bored of her😭
There is a perplexing lack of info on the internet on this issue:
I unfortunately didn't understand what it meant to "change the island tune" when talking to isabelle. I screwed around with notes, only to realize this "island tune" is the fun little melody that plays right when you talk to a villager. The problem is I want that default one, and there is no way to get it back.
No where on the internet is there any image or video of what the default tune is. You might find a post that shows a picture, but whatever is shown is completely different from my default. It seems there are multiple possible defaults. There really should be a "reset" option, or it really should be on the wiki somewhere, but its not. The wiki doesnt even acknowledge that there is a mixture of possible default tunes
I spent years playing this game and loving that little melody that plays every time i talk to a villager, so this is a big issue.
(Fortunately for me, i am experienced in music and have spent my entire life ear training, so i was easily able to just deduce what the tune must have been based on memory. Im just making this post because its still frustrating, and it would suck for someone to completely lose their tune like that)
In case anyone has this issue and happens to share the same default tune as me, it goes:
high E --> high C --> G --> low E --> F --> high D --> extend/hold note (D) --> high B --> high C --> rest/no sound --> high question mark note --> rest/no sound --> low C
Kudos to one single dude i was able to find in a thread that commented this melody^ for a poor soul who clearly was experiencing this same frustrating issue. Am i crazy?? I would love to at least confirm that my melody is correct as that particular default...
I also realized i could scour youtube until i find a video of someone talking to a villager with that same default tune
Im deciding if i want to get aeos gems to get meganium. I have like less than an hour to decide before the event is over lol. Im new to the game, and ive just reached the tier where i can pick umbreon license. To me they seem very similar as tankier healers (umbreon seems less tanky for a defender, and meganium seems tankier for a support, making them essentially nearly the same class), so i dont want to regret spending money, or vice versa, regret getting umbreon and not absol and have to wait many tiers for absol. im just worried they are way to similar. Any insights from anyone who has played either or both?? If you play either, why do you line to play them?
