Rusk Building Packages

So it looks like the comptroller decided they don't need a receptionist or a security guard at the Rusk building. Where the comptroller is. Where multiple FedEx packages chock full of checks go and are sitting on a counter in an open building in downtown Austin that has dozens of contractors that nobody knows running in and out of the building all day.

Sometimes maybe employees are actually needed. I don't work in that building but I do have to go there from time to time and this is absurd. It's like they're just waiting for something embarrassing and expensive to happen.

I found this cool guy (or gal) on my deck. I didn't know they could regrow their tail like this. I love our resident anoles, watching them is one of the best parts of summer in Austin, imo.
