Any tips on how to go pro?
Hey all, I'm currently 30 years old with a corporate job that I absolutely hate. Honestly, I don't really enjoy most things...but tennis, I love tennis. It's truly my one passion in life, I could play all day. After spending months thinking about this, and talking it through with friends and family, I've decided that it makes sense to quit my job and pursue my dreams. I want to go pro and try to make a living from tennis.
A bit more about me, I started playing tennis at 24 and have been at the 3.0 level for 6 years. I think with the right training, and the right racquet, I can go pro. I currently play with a pro staff 97 because I've been told my game style and talent is similar to Roger, but I actually want to model my game after Carlos, and was thinking about switching to a pure aero to help with my spin generation.
I'm wondering if ya'll have any tips for me? Any racquet recommendations / strings I should be using? Shoe recs?
Thanks all.
