Thursday Raptors
Dan Post 5725 ostrich leg boots in Brass. One of the few cutter toes in my collection.
Ringtail Sunday
Justin 9036 ringtail lizards. Nancie couldn't find these in the catalog, but u/TheCountofCecilTucky found an old Justin Hall of Fame advertisement saying they entered the inventory in 1973. He further notes that they have the same Justin tag style as the 1976 Bicentennial boots. They’re definitely among my favorites.
Graduation Boots
We'll graduate the Class of 2026 at 9am. Wearing my Tony Lama CT871 Bonham smooth ostrich with my regalia.
Justin Anteaters
Wearing my Justin D0325 pangolins, made in Fort Worth in the mid-1980s, for the last day of school for the year.
San Antonio 1982

Dan Post Spanish Stovepipes

Basement Dweller
Unlocked this morning. I wish they'd kept this at 500 days and left it as the terminal streak award. Ah, well.
71st Achievement.
Not seeing an unlock number on these anymore.
Is it just me or . . .
. . . has the asking price for vintage boots suddenly gone through the roof? Not picking on this particular seller (eBay has recently started messaging me boots it thinks I might want and this one just popped up), as I'm seeing it across the board. There were always a handful of sellers asking stupid prices but it seems like it's everyone now.
My collection has already exceeded my storage capacity, so I'm not searching as actively as I was a few months ago. But it does seem like the asking price has doubled in short order.
Stewart Stovepipes
Stewart Boot Company stovepipes. I'm pretty sure they're made of horsehide. They have the ©1977 that I've seen in every pair from that maker, which leads people to falsely believe their pair was made that year. I can't tell whether the model number is 3641 or 0398J.
Nocona Peewees
Nocona Style E706E in dark brown calf with 10" bone calf uppers, with a 3 toe and 5 heel. The box is stamped 22 February 1988. I got these new old stock from one of the Facebook groups some time back.
Lucchese San Antonios
Lucchese San Antonio 6472TN taupe Ranch Hand boots from April 24, 1981. Richardson with Chain shaft, Bell pull straps, 6 (round) toe and 3 (walking) heel. These were the first pair of San Antonios in my collection; I've added quite a few since.
Black 🍒Lizards🦎
Dan Post 16732 teju lizards in black cherry. Made March 1994.
Justin Ropers
Justin V560 roper in Butter Cup smooth ostrich vamp with Butter Cup kidskin quarters, made July 1990. Perfect for a 96 degree day.
Honey Suedes
The Johnny by Tecovas in honey suede. I bought these during their Memorial Day sale a couple years back.
