Since experiencing I get what I call energy attacks where I feel zapped by some kind of negative energy in my head and neck…there’s some variety but it’s almost always unpleasant.

It’s somewhere between a mental feeling (deep anxiety and wakefulness) and physical pain. Originally (before medication), this would be paired with heat in the neck and involuntary movement of the head, and the energy was so intense I couldn’t sleep for days. Very occasionally I’ve gotten waves of positive feelings or relaxation.

It happens rarely now but I just had an attack last night. Can anyone relate?
