I Was Tired of Information Overload, So I Built iLensAI for PSX
I've been working on something for the Pakistan Stock Exchange for the last few years, and I finally feel comfortable sharing it.
I'd genuinely appreciate feedback because Reddit tends to be brutally honest, and I'd rather hear criticism than compliments.
Like many retail investors, I started by spending hours every evening going through charts, broker reports, YouTube videos, WhatsApp groups, financial news, and technical indicators. I always felt busy, but rarely confident.
Eventually, I realized the problem wasn't a lack of information, it was filtering the noise. Today, almost every platform can show RSI, MACD, moving averages, and charts. Information is everywhere. Clear interpretation isn't.
That realization led me to build iLensAI.
Instead of creating another stock screener, I wanted to build something that helps investors understand why a stock looks interesting. I'm a computer engineer by profession, but the real challenge wasn't building the software, it was figuring out which information actually improves investment decisions.
Over time, I removed more features than I added. If something looked impressive but didn't help users make better decisions, it was removed.
Today, iLensAI includes multiple analytical engines, including:
- Market Pulse
- Breakout Engine
- Smart Money Analysis
- Volume Behaviour Engine
- Smart Dip Hunter
- Index Beating Elite
- Seasonal Analysis
- AI Chatbot
- Downloadable Excel datasets
- Coverage of 100% Shariah-compliant PSX stocks
My favourite feature is the AI chatbot. Instead of forcing users to interpret technical indicators, they can simply ask questions like "Why is this stock appearing today?" or "Why is this breakout considered strong?" and receive a plain-English explanation.
The goal isn't to predict the future. It's to help investors make better-informed decisions.
Another feature I'm proud of is the Performance page. Rather than asking users to trust marketing claims, it shows how recent signals actually performed over time. You can review signals from previous trading sessions and judge the platform based on transparent historical results.
The platform updates after every PSX trading session using the latest market data. If you prefer doing your own research, you can also download the Excel datasets and analyze everything yourself.
If you have a few minutes, I'd genuinely appreciate your honest feedback.
