Magpies throwing moss at me when I forget to feed them

I have been feeding what I thought to be a single magpie through spring with soaked meal worms. He has been appearing with a mate the last couple of weeks and I’ve noticed them feeding a fledgling on the chimney on the house behind. He is very loud!
Some days I forget to put the food out and when I sit in the garden to smoke I get bits of moss landing on and around me. I know that magpies pick moss off the roof for food, but it’s literally only in the area where I sit. It’s quite funny really and a rather clever reminder!

I planted it too close to the fence

I am new to gardening and the larger blue hydrangea is the first thing I ever planted a year ago, I didn’t realise it would spread so much so fast. I just planted it and left it alone. The flowers are pressing against the fence, will it die if I move it? Or should I leave it alone? Any advice appreciated

My cat caught a mouse

My cat caught a little field mouse and I got it off him before he could do damage, he had a superficial scratch on his head so I was worried about sepsis. called the vet and they said he would be better off being released when he recovers from shock than handled daily in captivity and would likely die of shock there.
He is currently in a little box upstairs with some porridge oats and water.
It’s raining outside and I don’t want to put him back in the garden when we have three cats. I think he may have came from under the shed but I’m not sure.
I’ve read that mice can’t survive without family so I don’t want to put him far away either. What should I do?

Why my hydrangeas different colors

I have 2 old wood hydrangeas that are planted 4 feet apart, one is deep blue and one is blooming pink. The blue one has been in the ground about a year and pink in the 2nd photo about 2 months. I thought the color went off the soil PH so shouldn’t they both be blue?

Why do my hydrangea leaves look like that?

Does anyone know why the leaves are crinkling and some turning dark around the edges? They don’t feel dry. It gets about 3-4 hours of morning sun and is only watered when it’s been really dry weather. North west England
