My rocket tier list...
Based on a Twitter post I saw earlier, I knew I had to do my own ! Maybe some hot takes in here. No particularly quantitative scoring, but bonus points were available for a) actually working (looking at you, Delta III) or b) being the first in their class - I've obviously got a soft spot for European rockets too. Reading the page I thought it was interesting quite how wide in scope this is - although it's obviously meant to be for now, the stated mission profiles are:
- Orbital
- Lunar surface
- Deep space
across a range of kWe power classes.
I would presume the primary aim, given the recent messaging, is the lunar surface reactor to support a permanent base.
