Which Bundesland should I apply for Approbation as an Indian IMG?
I’m an Indian MBBS graduate planning to apply for Approbation in Germany. I’m currently learning German and preparing for B2/C1, FSP and eventually KP.
Which Bundesland would you recommend applying to in 2026?
I’m mainly looking for advice regarding:
- Approbation processing time
- FSP & KP waiting times
- Difficulty of KP
- Berufserlaubnis
- Job opportunities for IMGs
- Overall experience with the authorities
Which state would you choose if you were starting the process today, and which states should I avoid?
