Added services for protecting the goods

Hello, I'd like to place an order for some Pokémon cards (mainly raw) and some sealed boxes. I saw in the checkout page that I can select added services as cardboard protection and bubble wrap. Apparently it's impossible to add protections for all of the products at once.

Since it's a big order from different vendors and some cards are very cheap, it has a big impact on total price.

Will the products be shipped without protection if I don't select any? What do you suggest?

Also I wanted to ask what's the best shipping method to avoid taxes (I'm from Europe).

Thank you very much in advance :)

Scratches from cleaning, how much do they influence value?

Hi everyone! I bought the full Souther Islands (JP) set just some days ago. I believed I paid a solid price for cards conditions, they all looked pretty clean at first glance with no major defects on the back and only a couple with the common printlines on the Japanese edition.

After a close examination of the Mew I realized the card looks abraded from (I think) somebody trying to clean it by scratching. The damage is visible, vertical on the lower part of the card and horizontal on the upper part. This is not the only card that has this type of damage, but it's definitely the most visible of the set.

I wanted to ask you two things:

  1. Not planning to grade, but do you think it would come as altered? Is it possible? Is it probable? Never graded before so I wouldn't know;

  2. How much do you think it would impact on potential selling value? I guess I'd rather have a clean looking card than a much worse one, but I can't overlook the fact that some people might prefer a less good looking card that can be graded even for lower grades. In general, what would you define the condition of this card on the common condition scale used on marketplaces?
