I just submitted application to the role 2 levels below my current grade. Because this is the team I’d love to join but I may lack some experience.

Just wondering is it even possible to hire a candidate to different grade than original posting if HM is happy with the candidate..?

I know headcount needs to be approved not sure how flexible the grade can be changed.
