National Grid MA VPP
Forgive me for sounding like a Noob but this is my first full
Summer with export and VPP. National Grid pays $275,, and Tesla cuts $220 per KW here. I set my PW3 + Expansion to drain to 0% during these and since it’s a bit vague on what you get paid out till the end of the season, I figured I’d ask here.
Since that is draining the full PWs, do I get paid on the amount exported or the full amount drained? since the house has to be powered by the battery during these events. If it’s the full battery $220 x 27 is $5,720 which seems absurdly high for something as simple as letting them use the battery, but is my math correct here?
