Advice needed

In just this last month my battery life has significantly declined on my iphone 14. It used to go days without needing to be charged. As of yesterday, it lasts about five minutes after being unplugged from the charger. I checked my battery health (68%) and saw ‘your battery’s health is significantly degraded… replace the battery to restore full performance’, can I just go to a nearby iphone store and have them replace it? Is it quick? Affordable? Sorry if these questions are dumb asking them here is way easier than trying to research things on my phone rn and I don’t have access to any other tech atm. Thanks!

advice needed: 21f solo backpacking south america

hi guys! i’ve decided to break out of the rat race and commit towards accomplishing a lifelong dream of mine.
i’m thinking of starting somewhere in central america, like costa rica, and slowly making my way south until i reach patagonia. i’d aim to go either nov’26-march’27 or jan-april’27.
for what i need to pack, any particular clothing items or gear you guys think is necessary? i’ll likely be spending most of my time outdoors, exploring, hiking, maybe mountaineering, swimming, surfing. what can i expect the climate and weather to be like? i’ve done my research but it’d be nice to hear from people that’ve experienced it.
food shouldn’t be an issue, part of the reason im drawn to these countries is because of its better quality (im from canada). i don’t care for luxury and comfort, i’d stay in hostels.
what’s the transportation like in those countries? are there particular cities/regions with reliable public transport? any specific places with a good hitchhiking culture? ideally i don’t want to have to rent a vehicle. the only reason i would is if there’s a safety issue, which leads into my most important question:
is this plan feasible, given the safety factor of being of woman as well? i am very athletic, street smart, and everyone i meet describes me as intimidating until they got to know me. but i am small (5’4, low bmi) and that can make me an easy target. wherever i go i try to immerse myself as much as possible into the local culture because i want to experience the place from the perspective of its people, but i always had someone with me. so i hate to ask this but are there certain places i should steer clear of or be more cautious in? any red flag behaviors or situations?

thank you to whoever takes the time to read and respond to all this, your feedback is appreciated!
