I originally thought this tooth was a baby meg because of the deep bourlette, but the long root hanging off the right side doesn’t look typical to megs. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Charleston Highlights 5/13/26

Woke up at 5:45 AM to go hunt for a few hours as tides went out. A ton of hemis, two giant threshers, a couple hastalis and a handful of meg and angustiden frags(and possibly my first chubstensis frag, not 100%). My absolute favorite was the adorable button posterior angustiden in fantastic condition. Fingers crossed for a whole meg next time!

I found this adorably tiny (and pretty high quality) Angustidens tooth in Charleston, SC recently. Definitely one of my favorite teeth in my collection. I didn’t know they could be this tiny!
