[Motor Nuclear] MNP-XH13 Wei Yuan Shi Review

Hello everyone!

Sharing my first Motor Nuclear and metal frame build.

I have mixed feelings about this. I really enjoyed the build experience but I'm not really a fan of the overall design. I only bought it because I got it at a really really discounted price.

I believe I spent more time building the accessories than the main kit. The build is smooth for the most part except on the following:

  1. The wrist connection (red part) is super tight. I broke 1 hand part and had a hard time removing the stuck part. Took me a lot of sanding to actually fit the hand ball joints.

  2. The solid black parts also needs a lot of sanding to fit. These are usually used as connections for the accessories. These are really hard plastic and there is no play when you try to insert it to pegs.

Also, there are a lot of extra parts/duplicate parts for this kit. The manual lets you know what is not needed, but I believe some of those are alternative parts and can be swapped. It would be awesome if they include that in the manual along with some poses of the kit. The manual feels very barebone lol.

Overall, it is an alright kit. I can't recommend for you to purchase it at full price, unless you really like the overall design. Don't get me wrong, this is a great kit but I feel like there is nothing very unique/interesting about this kit.

I think Motor Nuclear is a cool brand and I'm eyeing their JiHu model next. Thanks for reading.

[SNAA] Furious Warhammer Galahad Review

Hi everyone!

Sharing a review of one of the newest addition to the SNAA The Round Table Knights.

It's been a while since I finish building this (straight build only) but I still can't get over how awesome this kit is. This is probably my most favorite design and build experience across all the Knights. Galahad is also the biggest and his hammer is even bigger than Grace lol.

I don't think I experienced and issues or problems with this build. There is noting really major to complain about it but there are things that you should watch out for:
1. Thin White Plastics (img 2): Take extra care on this especially the pistons in the inner frame and the Horned Mask.
2. Horn/Spike (img 3): This is a challenge to build and parts are also small so take extra care because it might get lost in the black hole.

Another thing that you might consider as an issue is the weight of the hammer. It is really heavy for the kit to hold properly. Though it has a reinforcement part included, you might still need extra stands/support if you want to do some dynamic poses.

One small thing I'm really happy about this is the skirt design. Finally a simple skirt that does not get in the way when posing! I haven't tried much poses for this one since I am low on shelf space. But a simple standing pose still looks cool because it is just cool overall.

As always, this is a must buy. At this point, I think everything from SNAA is a must buy due to the value for money you get from their products.

I already pre-ordered Bedevere and will also post a review once it arrives.

Thanks for reading!

DSPIAE ST-A 3.0 worth it?

Naka sale ngayon for 1.1k sa lazada. Currently using stedi ms 104. Okay pa naman after 14 kits, ginagamitan ko lang ng garden tool sharpener from time to time.

Malaki ba difference nitong dalawang to? Worth it ba to upgrade?

SNAA Iron Sickle Kai (Reissue) Review

Hello everyone!

It's been a while since I posted a review. I am done building this kit a few days ago, and just got the time to take photos and post a review!

Anyway, this kit is amazing. The build experience is similar to the Lamorak. It is smooth and feels modern despite it being one of the first Knights to be released. I don't know if they made improvements or changed anything from the original release. If anyone has built the first issue and the reissue, please confirm if they made any changes!

I did not encounter any serious issues with this one. This competes with the Lamorak and Tristan when it comes to the smoothness of building.

I think the only things to watch out for are the following:
- Heel Inner frame: This has a weird way of putting it together. You need to push together, but it is not locking in place. You might accidentally knock it off when putting the outer armor, so look out for that.
- Yellow part on the knee: This is just held by 2 small pegs, so if you put enough force/weight on the part that sticks out, it might fall or shoot out. Take note of this when posing since it is a small part and you might lose it.

I am also not fan of how the skirt is made, since the front skirt is connected to the side skirts, and the main connection point for the whole skirt (front/side) is the side skirts. But maybe it's just me because I noticed I always have an issue with the skirts of kits lol.

This is a must buy, must built, and must have kit. One of the best designs in the Knights line. Don't think twice on buying this. It offers a really good experience for a cheap price.

I just got my Galahad and I will be reviewing that too once I'm finished with it. Might take a while since POE2 is taking bunch of my time haha.

Thanks for reading!

Hemoxian Thor Review

Finally done with this beauty. Took me almost 2 weeks (around 2-3 hours per day longer during weekends).

I love this kit. This is my first 1/100 or MG style build. My previous builds were just few Bandai HGs and the Round Table Knights of SNAA. After building this kit, I kinda don't want to go back to 1/144 scale hahaha.

This is a good kit but it is not perfect. I really enjoyed the building process and the engineering of the kit. There are some tight parts here and there but nothing that will piss you off. I took my time with this kit I love every second of building it.

If you have this on your backlog or you are planning to get this, I highly recommend it. I'm sure you will enjoy it too.

As I mentioned above, this is not a perfect kit. It has its own flaws here are there. Here's the list of the issues that I've experienced:
- Finnicky Shoulder Armor and Skirt Armor:
I'm not really a fan of the articulation for these armors especially the skirt Armor. It moves everytime you move the kit. Also the part that sandwiches the ball joint to another joint keeps on falling and just wont lock in place.
- Hip part rotates and slides out:
This is where I was really disappointed with this kit. Everything is tight and solid, except for the part that should be. It was a nightmare posing my kit. It just won't stand on its own and the legs keeps sliding out of position. Due to the weight of the kit and the amount of armor it has, it just won't stand up. I was really sad about this since I was looking forward to play and pose it in different ways. I will probably get a stand for it just to help it stabilize a little more.

Other things you might need to watch out with is the articulation in the Torso. Since the Hammer is so heavy, it tends to lean on the side where you hold the hammer. There are a lot of moving part on this kit so it makes posing a bit harder than usual.

To be fair, these issues just might be present on my copy. I saw videos and post where they can pose their kit normally. My friend also have a copy of this kit and he seems to not have any of my issues.

Despite of that, this is still an easy recommendation to everyone. It is a very unique experience and I hope Hemoxian will continue to release kits in this Gods line.

If you experience the same issues I got, please give me some tips on how to deal with it!

SNAA Thunder Incise Grace Review!

My 7th Knight and the last SNAA kit in my backlog.

I believe this is the first Knight they released in the line. I really enjoyed this kit. If this was the first kit I have ever built from SNAA, it will definitely make me want more from them.

The build process is smooth and not as painful as the Achilles. Tightness is there, but just the right amount. The simpleness of the kit is really refreshing for me especially after building all the newer Knights.

The color scheme also makes it stand out with the other Knights and it could be a good thing and a bad thing. I don't mind it as it gives variation across the collection.

If you ever plan on building this just watch out for the following:
- Head unit: the way you have to insert the vfin in the head is really awkward and does not really make any sense to me. Be careful also with the cheek armor as the pegs are thin and easy to break (I broke 1 peg but it the other still holds it)
- SUPER small parts: especially the one in the pic. I almost lost one when it decided to yeet itself when I was trying to push it in. Luckily I was able to recover it from the void.

This also comes with stickers but you don't need to use it if you don't want to.

If you are okay with building kit with really small parts, this is a good buy!

My Galahad and the reissue of Iron Sickle are still in preorder and I can't wait. Will post a review of those too once I get my hands on it!

SNAA Aegis Knight Achilles Review

Hello again, everyone!

Sharing my review of SNAA Aegis Knight Achilles, my 6th SNAA kit.

What others have been saying is true, this kit is tight asf! My hands and fingers hurt from assembling the inner frame. Basically any pegs that this kit have is tight. But due to the tightness of the pegs, it feels really solid and enjoyable to pose (though I did not post any posed pics because I suck at that). It can also easily carry the backpack without falling over.

The build experience is really good. I enjoyed this more than the Lancelot honestly. The only parts you need to watch our here are the following:
- Knee Armor: same with Lancelot where it is only held with small pegs so putting pressure on the top part might pop it out.
- Purple V-Fin: The purple V-fin has a weird way of connecting it to the head. Basically the two yellow horns pushes it downward so if you put some force on the sides of the purple v-fin, it shoots away so be careful.

Initially I really don't like the colors when I was just browsing pics and watching reviews. But when it was completed, it is feels refreshing in the eyes. Especially since the other knights barely have any colors in it. The purple really makes the kit pop!

Despite of its "issues" I can easily recommend this kit. With its price point, it is hard to pass on this one especially if you are collecting all of the Knights in the line.

SNAA Giant Axe Lancelot Review

This is my 5th Kit from SNAA and honestly, probably my least favorite build so far. It is also the most expensive of the bunch (almost double the SRP because it is so hard to find here in PH).

I've had some small issues with my previous SNAA kits (Gawain, Lamorak, Tristan, Percival) but it is just usually a tight joint or two, which does not really bother me at all.

But with this kit, oh boy. There are both tight and loose parts.
My biggest gripe is the finicky skirts. It is not as loose that it becomes a hand grenade, but it just wont stay in place and gets in the way when posing the kit.

Speaking of posing the kit, it is a bit hard especially since the backpack is heavy. Without an included stand, it is challenging to pose it and not fall over its back.
Another issue I have with the backpack is the amount of C-clips it uses. This is my first time working with c-clips, and I don't like it one bit. The backpack of this unit is sick as hell tho.

Another thing that I would like to point out is the knee armor. It is just held by 2 tiny pegs, so if you put pressure on the upper part, it will pop out. This is the first time I encounter this type of armor in the knees, and I don't like it. To be fair, it is not carried over to their other kits.

I believe this is one of their first kits so it might be just that, and the improvement in design and engineering can be observed in their newer kits.

Regardless of my rants above, this is still a solid kit. The overall design and aesthetics are really cool. Also, it does not lie when it says Giant Axe because that axe is GIANT indeed.

I can still recommend this kit BUT ONLY if you can get it on SRP. I only bought it because I can't resist being a completionist and I did not want to wait for a reissue.
I believe that this kit might get a reissue since the Iron Sickle Kai got one, and I have that on PO already.

All in all, I still enjoyed building this and I am looking forward for the remaining Knights in this line.

Pulled the trigger on these bad boys

Even before I started the hobby few months ago, I've always liked the design of Thor since my friend have it. Too bad I can't get my hands on a copy with the cape included.

Never watched any shows but always loved the idea of model kits. Barbatos' design is peak for me. But since I never really watched any Gundam Anime, I opted to 3rd party kits which is based on existing bandai design. Fenrir is really perfect for that!

5.5 Haul: Hemoxian Thor and In Era + Fenrir

Bago pa ko pumasok sa hobby, gandang ganda na ko sa design netong Thor kasi meron yung tropa ko. Decided to pull the trigger along with Fenrir, hirap palampasin ng voucher sa Shopee HAHA

Hello, baka may ma recommend kayo na kits na army green yung dominant color way. Preferably 3rd party kits na orig design or hindi straight up copy from bandai
