I just got myself a TH8A and 18-speed shift knob, and I have converted my fleet to manual. I have a question for real truckers in this sub: is shifting a 13/18-speed really this easy to pick up? I can drive a manual and motorcycles with ease and have been for years, but growing up, there was this one movie that made it seem almost impossible to drive a truck without years of experience and formal training. So, for my question, please see the title.

Edit: I shift 2, 4, 5L, 6L, 7L, 8L, then 8H, unless the load is heavy. BTW, 13-speed. Would this damage a transmission? IRL?
