Should I keep my inexpensive bassinet or get a used newton bedside bassinet?
Hey! I’m a FTM and currently in the deep of whether I’m making the right choices for my baby. For my bassinet I was looking for something that fit in my room, preferably had wheels to move around the house if I needed to, easy transport and I like the idea of being able to open the side of the bassinet for easy access to my baby.
I currently have a new (in box) Neoborn 3-1 bassinet that I got for $100. Originally $200.
I’m trying to not go wild overspending on things and felt it was a good deal so I got it. I have a tendency to overdo/overthink things and marketing tends to work on me. So I need peoples perspective.
I saw a used newton bedside bassinet in FB marketplace for $150. I honestly think the new one is too expensive but for this price it might be doable. Is it worth it enough to get it used. Has anyone bought a used one and thought it was worth it?
I’ve read so many things about the Newton mattress breathability (wether the claim is real or it’s just fear mongering for new parents) and I’m just wondering if it’s worth all this trouble or should I just keep what I already have.
In the end I just want to make the right choices for my baby and I’ve just been feeling overwhelmed.
