What makes a good grad school application coming out of undergrad?

I'm a current undergraduate student in a statistics program in the U.S. and hoping to apply to next year and was curious what's worked for others for Masters and PhD applications. I know having research experience is generally good and of course decent GPA but given applications can be fairly competitive figured it doesn't hurt to see what better can be done before application time.

I've had constipation related stuff for my IBS since I was a kid and over the years ended up with some odd stuff happening when the constipation is worse. Pretty much always get some level of brain fog and fatigue that makes it feel like I have some kind of brain damage. The worst its gotten left me on the verge of passing out for nearly a month and incapable of processing basic emails at my job and other basic levels of comprehension properly at time. Also when the urge hits sometimes the pain and sensations that hit my body kinda just hit everywhere. Touch from anything even clothes or hair feels unbearable and my head can feel horrid as I'm both incapable of sleep and extremely fatigued in desperate need for sleep. Also a lot near regurgitation/vomit/acid with no warning though that happens even without worse flares sometimes just happens anyways. Also worse dizziness when flares are really hitting. Anyone experience stuff like this? Obviously get the usual fun of pain/bloating/appetite suppression.
