Im looking for some general advice about how to invade enemy camps efficiently.

Obviously if its dangerous because enemy jungler is stronger or if enemy laners have prio to move quickly then its bad, but what about when its relatively safe to do so. An example scenarios come to mind:

I've just reset, all my camps are up and i see enemy raptors are up while top laner is opposite side of map. Should i go straight to enemy raports then back to my own full clear, or clear one quadrant of my jungle on the way over and risk it be gone?

Obviously everything is highly contextual but keen to hear id anyone has some general tips on maximiming pathing tempo and invading camps
