I'm sending a MIDR, and I've got 2 versions. Which one is better?
1st one - shorter, but it's basically the same appeal that got a certain person unbanned (he shared it with me)
Subject: Request for MIDR Review – False Enforcement Ban on Account lotto1377
To Roblox Moderation Team,
I am formally requesting a manual MIDR investigation and review regarding the enforcement placed on my Roblox account, “lotto1377.” My account was falsely banned as part of a ban wave after being incorrectly linked to another account that I have no knowledge of or association with.
To be clear, I do not own, operate, or have any connection to any alternate or linked accounts outside of my own. There are no additional accounts associated with my email or identity. The linkage that resulted in this enforcement appears to be entirely inaccurate and the result of an automated system error.
I believe I was caught in a mass enforcement action where accounts were incorrectly flagged and associated. In my case, the linked account is completely unfamiliar to me, and I have no involvement with it whatsoever.
Since April 8th, I have been submitting appeals in an attempt to resolve this issue fairly. However, I have continued to receive unresolved or inconsistent responses without any clear explanation or evidence supporting the enforcement against my account.
I also have documentation available to support my case, including:
Screenshots of inconsistent and unresolved ticket numbers and appeal responses,
Proof that my Roblox account “lotto1377” is solely connected to my email,
Evidence showing there are no other accounts linked to my email or identity.
At this point, I am requesting a proper manual investigation by a human reviewer. I believe this enforcement was applied incorrectly due to a false account association and should be reviewed with full context rather than automated systems.
I respectfully ask that Roblox:
Conduct a full MIDR/manual review of the enforcement on “lotto1377”,
Verify the accuracy of the alleged linked account connection,
Review the supporting evidence I am able to provide,
Remove the enforcement if no valid connection can be proven.
I am fully willing to cooperate with any verification process required to confirm ownership and account legitimacy.
After more than a month of appeals since April 8th, I am simply asking for a fair and thorough review based on accurate data and evidence.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely, lotto1377

Subject: Mandatory Informal Dispute Resolution Notice — Incorrect Linked-Account Enforcement / Wrongful Account Termination
To Roblox Corporation Legal Department,
I am writing to formally initiate Roblox’s Mandatory Informal Dispute Resolution process regarding the termination of my Roblox account. My account information is as follows:
(Full legal name)
lotto1377 (Account username)
(email)
(my address)
[LIST ALL TICKET NUMBERS]
Date of the ban – April 8th, 2026 [08.04.2026]
I dispute the moderation action against my account and request a good-faith review and resolution.
My Roblox account was terminated because Roblox appears to believe that my account is linked to another account that violated Roblox’s Community Standards. I am not asking Roblox to reverse or re-review the other account’s violation in this letter. I am disputing the conclusion that my account is owned, controlled, or operated by the same person as the other account, or that I used my account to evade enforcement.
I do not own, control, operate, or have access to the other account. I only own and use my own Roblox account, lotto1377. I have not used my account to avoid a ban, bypass enforcement, continue activity from another terminated account, or assist another user in evading Roblox moderation.
The core dispute is that Roblox appears to have applied a severe account-level punishment to my account based on an account-linking determination that I believe is incorrect. I understand that Roblox has an interest in preventing ban evasion, but a technical association alone should not be treated as conclusive proof of ownership or control. Shared or overlapping signals such as household internet, school or public Wi-Fi, a shared device, family access, VPN use, previous login environment, or another non-conclusive technical connection can create a false association without proving that I owned or operated the other account.
I previously attempted to resolve this through Roblox Support / Appeals. However, the appeal responses were rejected without a meaningful explanation addressing the central issue: what evidence proves that I own, control, or intentionally used the other accountThe responses did not explain why Roblox believes the accounts belong to the same person, did not address my statement that I only own my own account, and did not provide a clear path to correct a mistaken linked-account enforcement.
This is why I am now submitting this formal MIDR notice.
I respectfully request that Roblox:
1. Conduct a fresh manual review of the account-linking determination against lotto1377.
2. Review whether the enforcement was based on reliable evidence of actual ownership, control, or ban evasion, rather than weak technical association.
3. Confirm whether my own account committed any independent Community Standards violation, or whether the termination was solely based on association with another account.
4. Reconsider the termination if Roblox cannot verify that I owned, controlled, or used the other account to evade enforcement.
5. Restore my Roblox account if the linked-account enforcement was mistaken.
6. Provide a clear written explanation of the basis for the decision, to the extent Roblox can do so without compromising platform safety, privacy, or security systems.
I am willing to cooperate with reasonable verification steps to prove ownership of my account and to help Roblox distinguish my account from the other account. I can provide screenshots of the moderation notice, copies of prior appeal responses, account ownership information, email verification, billing information if applicable, device/account history, or any other reasonable information Roblox requests.
I am not requesting private information about another Roblox user. I am only requesting that Roblox review whether my own account was incorrectly terminated because of a false or unsupported linked-account assumption.
My requested resolution is:
Primary resolution: Restore access to my Roblox account, [ USERNAME], and remove the termination if Roblox cannot confirm that I owned, controlled, or used the other account for enforcement evasion.
Alternative resolution: If Roblox maintains the decision, provide a meaningful written explanation identifying the basis for the account-linking decision and the reason Roblox believes my account was properly terminated.
Please treat this as a good-faith attempt to resolve the dispute informally under Roblox’s Mandatory Informal Dispute Resolution process.
Sincerely,
